Give A Gift To A Teacher Near You

I was talking to a friend today about teacher appreciation, and what kinds of gifts are appropriate. She told me that when she was a teacher, she received all kinds of gifts from students. She has boxes of gifts that she has received, and they have been rotated through her gift display.

I was very much encouraged to hear that cards are something that she didn't have to rotate. She pinned them up to her wall and they remained there, brightening her room each day.

I showed her the Lift A Teacher cards that we produce and she was beeming. She was impressed by the beautiful images, the laminated stock, and the perfect size that isn't too overwhelming and yet allows the students to add their most heartfelt messages to the inside cover.

I let her know how easy it is for students to log in, choose a card, add a message, choose the school (they don't need to know the address), and enter the teacher's name. She was thrilled to share it with her friends whose kids have teachers they want to give a gift to.

Once the process is complete, the card is printed and mailed the very next day right to the school. What a surprise for the teacher to get such a beautiful, thoughtful gift delivered right to them! It's so inexpensive and quick that you'll want to send one to all of your teachers. Just imagine how they'll feel when they get that special delivery!!

To see how very easy it is, just go to www.liftateacher.org and give it a try. My friend loved it, and I think you will too!

Lift A Teacher Today Launches

Welcome to post number 1! We are thrilled about what the future holds for this blog. There are so many students out there with great stories to tell about their teachers. We will digest those stories and pass them on to you here. We aim to renew the hope and the faith in the hard-working educators of our country that are inspiring the next generation to achieve greatness in a seemingly impossible climate. Worry not, the first stories will arrive soon, so check back often!!

Hopefully your Labor Day was a great one, now back to school, work and all the fruits that we enjoy from those things!
